Meet The Founder

Desert Paws™ was founded by Hayley Williams, a qualified veterinary technician with a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology from the University of Queensland. With a lifelong passion for animals and years of experience in clinical care, she created Desert Paws™ to fill a critical gap in pet wellness—products designed specifically for pets living in hot and harsh environments.

Surrounded by animals since childhood, Hayley has cared for everything from dogs and cats to horses and wildlife. This hands-on background, combined with her academic expertise, drives her deep understanding of the unique needs pets face in extreme climates like Dubai.

Meet Hugo

The heart behind Desert Paws™ is our fur baby Hugo—a cheeky, lovable pup with a big personality and an even bigger need for comfort during Dubai’s scorching summers. Watching Hugo struggle with hot pavements and cracked paws inspired us to develop practical, pet-safe products that keep pets cool, hydrated, and protected.
